Ennis is a really nice town to visit.
Ennis is a really nice town to visit. There's a nice atmosphere to the place. Even though the whole of the centre was being dug up for improvements it was still really interesting to walk around. A lovely Medieval town with narrow streets.
A lovely Medieval town with narrow streets. A historic and restore Franciscan abbey which has been restored in part with daily tours. Nice variety of restaurants and coffee establishments. The Well Cafe (called beo - the well) and Brogans Pub are highly recommended for great atmosphere and food options. Spotted many other nice shops but didn't have the time to browse much. I was pretty worried about the reviews about the loudness at night, but decided to risk it because it was well-priced. I was very pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a problem at all for my stay - but keep in mind that I stayed on a Monday night.
