We had a lovely stay here in Thomastown, great location with shops, cafes, pubs and pharmacies a short walk away. The house was beautiful with modern furnishings. The host Judith was lovely and forthcoming with information before and during our stay. Our family of four had a very comfy midweek stay here while traveling for a family wedding. Our boys enjoyed visiting Jerpoint Abbey with is minutes from the house and the drive to Kilkenny city was just under twenty minutes. The weetabix and tea/coffee and condiments was a lovely touch. Would recommend this stylish home to anyone for a trip to this charming little town.

Night away for a treat for our daughter , lovely and warm , clean , fresh , well equipped with everything we needed , beds were comfy and she loved the hot tub and riding lesson ! Plus the goat and chickens 😁 will be back

Paddy and Eleanor were welcoming hosts. Good location near New Ross. Comfortable beds, lovely to have milk and bread and jam supplied. Highly recommend for 6 people or 2 families. Good position to easily join the motorway north.

Very nice little cottage with everything you need. Authentic irish little house,parking just outside. A great experiance. Owner even left us a food, milk,bread,butter and jam. All in all, superb.

Inistioge was charming.

Inistioge was charming. We ventured into the village for supplies and the little store had everything. The pub staff were friendly, but you need to go early if you’re looking for a meal. It’s very busy. Our party wasn’t a walking party as it included two elderly ladies, but they loved the views from the benches. There is ample opportunity to walk and some lovely trails. If you like bird-watching there are lots to see including a resident heron that you can see from the bridge.

Inistioge is a beautiful little Irish town with so much to...

Inistioge is a beautiful little Irish town with so much to offer. Great spot to get away from it all. With lots of activities to do during the day such as taking in the Woodstock gardens with beautiful grounds and some rare/endangered trees, a walk along the river or a visit to the historical Jerpoint abbey. There is something for everyone. There are 3 pubs in the town to go for a drink in the evening or escape on a rainy day. No restaurants in the town but The Otter bar serves food up until 7.00 and I tried their homemade Lasagna which was great for pub grub.
