the apartments were in MAGNIFICENT, pristine condition. showers were great, with great pressure. beds were super comfy. amenities were great, and though the spaces weren't huge, we felt like space was used really intelligently. right down the road from the beach and many restaurants, we were really able to maximize our time in Kilkee with this great find as the perfect home base.

We loved our stay at Moineir House. The setting is quiet and a bit on the desolate side—in the best possible way—exactly the kind of peaceful retreat we were hoping for. Our room was very comfortable, and the shower had wonderfully hot water with strong, healthy pressure (a big priority for us!). Olga served breakfast each morning and could not have been more accommodating. Everything was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended.

John is an exceptional host with immaculate attention to detail. The facilities and food were a 10/10. We were greeted with baked goods, all home-made and made feel so comfortable and relaxed. The bed was great bettered only by the breakfast (see the photo below and note that there was cooked breakfast too)! In a world where prices seem to be ever increasing, I can honestly say the value this B&B offers it's an absolute steal. We'll definitely be going back!

The Blake at Carrigaholt was spotlessly clean, cozy and charming. The bed was very comfortable. Location was great as a base for the Loop Head drive - lighthouse, cliffs, Ross Bridge, ancestral townland/cemeteries; feet from the water - could hear the waves at night; short walk to the Carrigaholt Castle. Had one of our best dinners in the 3 weeks we travelled in Ireland at The Long Dock Restaurant - 1 minute walk away. A much appreciated small touch was the opera/show tune music drifting out from the small Post Office across the street. James the host was an excellent communicator.

We didn't spend much time in Kilkee as it was just a base...

We didn't spend much time in Kilkee as it was just a base for visiting friends and family nearby, but we did walk on the beach and did most of the cliff walk. It's a good base for exploring the Loop Head peninsula too, but we did that on a previous visit. I would definitely stay there again, although not in the same apartments.

Lovely beach and swimming, visited Hook Head Lighthouse ans saw lots of Basking Sharks gathered for mating season, amazing. Met some lovely locals who made us feel very welcome and had brilliant trad session in O Meara's bar. Will be back.

The beach is fab, we also did the Flying Alpaca farm which the kids loved. Visited Vandeleur Gardens which were nice with activities for the kids and a nice cafe. Had dinner one evening at Myles Creek and went to O"Neills Funfair arcade as it was raining.

This is a great base for touring the area but transport is required unless you are super fit for hiking or cycling! We stayed 3 nights which we thought was sufficient to cover the area. There are a number of independent shops as there are in other places in Ireland but good to see them, we have lost so many from our high streets within the UK. Just opposite the hotel is a deli that made great sandwiches to order at a reasonable price. Numerous bars in the area if you wanted to take in the ambience plus the hotel had a bar with a good selection of drinks. Clean beach with a number of people swimming despite it being cold, obviously hardy souls!

The hotel was excellent the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful the food was beautiful with gluten free options our room was very comfortable with sea views would highly recommend this hotel kilkee was stunning as weather was gorgeous with fabulous big beach and lots of walks had a great stay

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs...

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

The apartment feels newly furnished and is very clean and spacious. It is positioned in the absolute best location in Kilkee being equally close to the beach, pubs and west end. My guests had a great hub to come back to and had no issues entering the property. The next time I bring guests to Kilkee, Rosaries apartment will be my go to accommodation! Thanks again

John at Sycamore exceeded my expectations! I started to run the half marathon in Kilkee. John greeted me with tea and refreshments, had all the best recommendations for Kilkee and Ireland, and was absurdly kind. The breakfast in the morning was gourmet, delicious and beautiful. I recommend 100 percent. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

The location is perfection, we booked 2 apartments and ate in the very cool and chill Naughton's Yard in the evening. Kilkee is a premier natural swimming location and the food and social spaces have really reached a par with this, Naughton's Yard is to be highly recommended!
