Spacious and also compact, tidy, adorable apartment with a little patio and laundry in the kitchen. The washer saved us a lot of time and was an unexpected blessing. Location was good, next to a small paddock with horses. Abbey church bells rang beautifully in the morning. Within walking distance to a good simple Pakistani restaurant, which was nice for takeaway to eat in the full kitchen. Very comfortable linens and bed, coziest big blanket ever to curl up with on one of two couches in the lounge. I had enough space to do yoga before bed and we watched two movies in great comfort, staying up late just to enjoy the apartment. Hosts were prompt in providing information about how to access the keys right after we booked.

Killaloe / Ballina is a beautiful twin town spanning the river Shannon. Great river walks, the old road bridge is now pedestrianised making it easy to go from the Ballina to the Killaloe side and vice versa. There's a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs with indoor and outdoor areas. The Lakeside Hotel Killaloe (on the Ballina side) serves excellent food and drinks. Avoid the Bóruna Gastro Pub for now, it's dirty and the service is poor, could be great with it's rooftop bar but needs a refresh of the property and attitudes. Tuscany Bistro on the Ballina side serves excellent food in with great service Raw Interiors serves great food and coffee on the Killaloe side quirky building and great service

wonderful breakfast freshly cooked both for room service and in the dining room .Spa looked beautiful good parking /lovely location very clean and the staff were superb at all times from night porter to waiting staff ,reception and spa staff

Lovely town with great views of Lough Derg and the Shannon, Enjoyed a lovely boat trip with Killaloe Boat Trip. Without asking they provided water for my dog and invited my kids to steer the boat . Crew were extremely courtious and friendly After we had lunch at Flanagans overling the Shannon. Food was very good.. Killaloe is a super little town with plenty of good pubs serving good food,

Stunning place to base a holiday. Easy access to limerick/shannon and the cliffs of moher. Also the lough derg is gem!! The locals even got me a few too many whiskeys one night while enjoying live music!!

Beautiful spot. We stayed for one night. The villages are lovely but there is a lot of traffic, however there is a new road and bridge being built. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Easy to walk around. It can be very busy when there is a wedding taking place.

Killaloe is a very attractive village.

Killaloe is a very attractive village. At the moment there is a lot of roadworks which delays you driving around. I have stayed twice and would stay again. Highly recommend the cruise on Lough Derg.

Beautiful elegant house, very nice decor, lovely welcome from the hosts. We hadn't booked breakfast but host left lovely scones and we had tea/coffee making facilities. Really lovely experience and we would recommend. Only thing that didnt particularly suit us was that the house was further out from Ballina-Killaloe than we thought so we had to drive in for dinner and home. Magnificent views on route.

The staff were incredible, very friendly and helpful at all times, they all went out of their way to be accommodating at any given time. Location is excellent for Killaloe or to use as a base for exploring Lough Derg. Spa facilities were nice but they are quite basic and staff were chatting loudly which impacted the intended quiet of the relaxation room.

This is a lovely B&B right on the outskirts of Killaloe. The hosts were attentative, the breakfast was great, and it was an easy walk into Killaloe and Ballina.
