Historic hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the harbour. We had a wonderful stay here with our visitors from Philidelphia, it was the perfect stay, the food is amazing and a delicious breakfast provided the next morning. A big shout out to Bríd who went above and beyond helping us locate long lost relatives and places to visit on the island. I can’t wait to return to Valentia and this hotel.

The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and the unit was was very cozy and functional. We had a bodum for coffee provided and even some basics for breakfast. A perfect stay for visiting skellig micheals.

Nice little village.

Nice little village. It closes down on Tuesday except for the hotel. You need to have it booked for eating out in advance. Small little shop not well stocked and expensive. Shop before you come onto island. Food in hotel fabulous.
