Margaret welcomed us at the door and ensured that we had a wonderful time at her B&B. The facilities were very clean and our room was good. We were very happy just to have a continental type breakfast, although other options were there, after having had lots of full Irish breakfasts. Her recommendation of the tavern for our evening meal was appreciated. It is only a short walk down to the beach and there are great views from the front terrace over the coast. There are cute sheep everywhere. You would certainly need to have a car to access this property. This place certainly gets a tick of approval from us.

A very warm and friendly welcome was the start to four pleasant and interesting days in the area. Our room and the beds were very comfortable. We very much enjoyed the traditional cooked breakfast - a great start for the day! Thanks again to our host for the frienddly and generous hospitality!

Very nice location, especially if you are up for some hikes in the area (or are into fishing). The staff is super friendly and very helpful, despite us arriving really late (apologies again ;-)). The breakfast has been great, however the very best experience has been the delicious diner in style with other (few) guests on the long dining table.

We had a lovely room on the ground floor. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and had coffee and tea making facilities. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and were able to park our car in the hotel garage and walk to where we were going. Location is very good.

Louisburgh is a gorgeous spot with lots to do and see, its a lovely quiet location, with some of the most beautiful beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way, there are lots of watersports to be found, including SUP (Stand Up Paddling), snorkeling and Kayaking. Take a trip to Clare Island on a good day and you won't be disappointed, hire some bikes and enjoy the fantastic views and the tranquility of island life. Don't forget to climb Croagh Patrick

Louisburgh was great and I would like to have spent more...

Louisburgh was great and I would like to have spent more time there eating and going to the pubs. We didn't because we would like to have walked into town in the evenings but not possible because of the narrow and dangerous roads. It was a great town.

Weather was not great, but location was so central that there was plenty to do. Choice of restaurants was not great as the season does not really start until July but Gaffneys in Louisburgh and Campbells and the Tavern in Murrisk are really excellent. McNamara's Pub in Bridge Street is really friendly and comfortable

Mary and Pat are the perfect hosts.

Mary and Pat are the perfect hosts. Mary had gone to the trouble of providing coconut milk for me. I was initially welcomed with tea and cake, which was so nice. The area is stunning and very rural with ample scope for walking. Hope to return some time.
