Excellent property at walking distance of the seaside. The house is very confortable, you can light up a fire to warm things up, the kitchen is functional and the two bedrooms are large enough. The cottage has an excellent terrace to enjoy a glass of Irish whiskey below the stars !

    Mount charles suited our group as a base, 10 mins to donegal...

    Mount charles suited our group as a base, 10 mins to donegal 20 mins to killibegs 30 mins to ballyshannon&35 mins to bundoran so it was within easy reach to all the towns, we went to castle open farm to feed and drive the digger we went on the riverboat around donegal Bay then, went th killibegs to see the fishing vessels, then, rossnowlough, beach which was beautiful, and had a drive to lough derg that was lovely,

    The property was not in the heart of Mountcharles and a walk...

    The property was not in the heart of Mountcharles and a walk into it would have meant a considerable climb back. We drove through Mountcharles and were surprised how spread out it was. We chose it for the location as we were exploring Donegal and Sligo. There is no sandy beach as far as we could tell.
