Lovely accomodation with a beautiful outlook onto a large lawn. Owner was welcoming and all facilities were as indicated. The beds were great, shower hot, kitchen and lounge area was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We received outstanding hospitality from the staff upon our unexpectedly late night arrival. We were very grateful to be provided with sandwiches after the restaurant had closed (Thanks Sophie and Brendan!).The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious for our family of 4. The breakfast was fantastic, with an extensive menu of options. We would be very happy to return here on our next visit to Ireland.

The room and staff were exceptional. We left too early for breakfast, but the staff prepared a take away food package for us that included coffee which was a happy surprise! Highly recommended.

The hotel was really nice stunning, bar and restaurant. Food was amazing, and local fish and mussels. It is lovely sitting in the outside area by the fountain ⛲️. Staff were very professional and couldn't do enough for you. Stephen, the manager, was so great and really knew his stuff about food and drink. The swimming pool was lovely, ice bath, sauna steam room, and jacuzzi. Perfect, stop to catch our early ferry 20 minutes away. Definitely be back to stay here.

the property was lovely. really nice suite with two bathrooms. bed was incredibly comfy. room was great. the staff were very friendly and helpful. unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant as it was Easter Sunday and it was very very busy

    Murntown is a small local one street village, but it is...

    Murntown is a small local one street village, but it is within easy driving distance of Rosslare, Kilmore, Wexford town and Johnstown Castle which is well worth a visit. It has a well stocked shop, post office and pub. I would strongly recommend The Coal Bunker for a meal, the food was excellent and great value for money.

    Our stay was mainly for the purpose of catching the ferry to Pembroke Dock the following morning, so we didn't get to see much of the surrounding countryside. However, we did have an excellent meal at The Coal Bunker (just 15 minutes' drive from the guest house).
