This was an absolutely amazing stay! The view from our room was simply breathtaking - like a perfect picture. The hosts were so friendly; they truly made us feel at home. Tina was an incredibly welcoming host, she went above and beyond to help us make the most out of our stay there, even though it was only for one night! She really made our experience wholesome- the lodge is located in an idyllic spot with access to two separate beaches (you just need to bypass a temperamental goose to make it there). Honestly, our stay there was a core memory for both myself and my friend and one we are really gonna treasure 🙂 1000000000/10 -would recommend

    Great base for travelling around. Visited Slieve League, Assaranacha Falls, Mahera beach and caves, the Glengesh Pass, glen columcille, The Rusty Mackerel and The Boathouse in Killybegs, Donegal Town and The smugglers creek in Rossnowlagh . So we covered a lot of ground!!

    Killybegs is a fishing town with a beautiful harbour with restaurants offering very tasty fresh fish dishes daily, and lovely bars if you fancy a tipple, the people are so nice and always have time for a chat. Killybegs is not to far from the historical Donegal town and the seaside resort Bundoran and lots of other beaches spread throughout the county, well worth a visit

    This is a great little town and its growing.

    This is a great little town and its growing. It has an amazing little sea port you can walk about and has a few great pubs with great food and of course, iced cold beers. Very convenient to everything if you are visiting this area of Ireland.

    This is the friendliest place in the world.

    This is the friendliest place in the world. So many amazing places to eat with views that are unforgettable. Strangely there are no bins, not even a dog waste bin. This is the only bad thing I can think of.

    Killybegs is a beautiful part of the country, fantastic...

    Killybegs is a beautiful part of the country, fantastic beaches and great for fishing. Highly recommended to anyone, if it isn’t on your bucket list then you should add it! And don’t forget the Seafood Shack, delicious, fresh seafood cooked right in front of you!

    Room is small, but comfortable.

    Room is small, but comfortable. The plumbing was not good and the shower was dangerous - the tap barely worked, the water was scalding and not possible to adjust to get cold water. Also, we were in room 9 at the top and right outside the window is an industrial exhaust flue the operates almost continuously and is quite noisy. Otherwise, the staff were welcoming and cheery.

    Ideal location for exploring South Donegal. View of the harbour across the road. On the main road into Killybegs but very quiet at night so it's not an issue. Supervalue a few mins walk in one direction, the beautiful fishing port and town of Killybegs a short walk in the other direction (about 10mins). The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. A thoughtful welcome pack of milk, butter, bread, and a few snacks were left for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

    The location of this hotel is fantastic the rooms are lovely and clean very comfortable bed. Warm welcome absolutely loved it would definitely return. There is no parking but you can park anywhere in killybegs which is no bother. Lovely cafes nearby and the food in the fleet is excellent.
