Allihies is a lovely colourful little town with brightly coloured houses, a shop and pubs. The scenery is spectacular with a beach and stunning mountains where an old copper mine can be found. Biased as my family come from the area.
Biased as my family come from the area. There is plenty to explore in the area from the mines to the strand. Dursey cable car is fun and nice walking on the island The local mine museum is good for rainy days.
