We stayed one in this hotel and we had a great time! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are large, comfortable and very clean; the breakfast was very good with tea, coffee, jam, bread, croissant, bacon, eggs, porridge, fruit, ham, scusate and cheese. Highly recommended

The Yellow door is an amazing little house. We were greeted with beautiful Christmas lights and chocolates on the table. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (3 teens who all were happy to have their own space). It really felt like coming home! Rachel and Niall helped out of the first night when we found the water wasn’t very hot and fixed it immediately. A wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend!

Everything which the property has to offer. The property is very well maintained with all basic amenities. The property is located in a very prime spot with easy access to Aldi and SuperValue. The Kitchen is equipped with all utensils one may need. It is a big spacious property with comfortable bedding and aesthetically pleasing ambiance. The location was perfect for our stay in Kerry. When the sun shone we were able to make use of the nice garden furniture. When it turned colder at night the storage heaters provided ample heat. The cooker was easy to use and the shower was good. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and provided use with some nice extras - eggs and scones! Lovely.

Ann…was a lovely host. Very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. House was everything we were looking for. Quiet, traditional homely Irish feel. Quite central so that we could drive out in different directions.

    We thought it to be a beautiful place to stay and will return.The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the town.Beautiful lounge and the food was excellent.Dined at night in the hotel.Food was beautiful and the staff were exceptionally attentive.Really enjoyed our stay in your hotel.Thank you.

    Castleisland is a lovely small town surrounded by scenic...

    Castleisland is a lovely small town surrounded by scenic farmland. It is not a typical tourist destination. There are good roads to the town. It's pretty sleepy after 6pm. Tralee is about 15 minutes away and Killarney is less than a half hour away if you want restaurants and shopping. And there are several tourist options that are close by such as the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle and KIllarney National Park.

    Sad, sad place 20 min outside of Killarney.

    Sad, sad place 20 min outside of Killarney. There is nothing to see, eat or do. A few cute pubs, as often many restaurants close at 5 / 5:30 pm, most stores as well. Don’t go to the cave, it’s a rip off, the whole place is depressing.

    We didn't see much as we arrived about 8pm and left early. We did have a short walk , but it wasn't enough to take a good look around. There were alot of shops and the hotel was on the main street

    Very pleasant lady.

    Very pleasant lady. Room was clean with a little dining table, tea and coffee. Self catering kitchen with basic stuff provided. Fresh free range farm eggs for breakfast. Very simple and perfect for one night stay. Thank you!

    We unfortunately could stay for only one night. It was amazing. Rachel is such an amazing host. It’s all in the details and her communication is the best. The house is so much more spacious than you would guess from the front. It is beautifully decorated. It feels like a chique hotel in the middle of town/neighboorhood. Thanks Rachel! We hope to visit longer in the future!

    Connie and family very welcoming and go out of their way to assist. lovely accommodation within easy reach of Castleisland Tralee and the Dingle Peninsula. Spacious and very comfortable bedrooms and a lovely breakfast
