The place is just amazing, perfect for couples (huge space and very well equipped). Paul (the host) will be one of the friendliest/nicest guys you will meet in Ireland. The place will serve as a perfect base to explore the extreme north and west (Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway) of the country.

I loved the whole experience at the hilltop my favourite part was the hot tub. We went for my partners birthday and the host set up banners and balloons and a bottle of prosecco and chocolates. Best stay wev ever had anywhere. So relaxed and so private.

Mary was the most wonderful helpful host, giving us touring advice . Her baking was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast excellent we would definitely recommend Avondale, it was so peaceful after the city breaks.
