This area of upper Donegal is a delight for those who like...
This area of upper Donegal is a delight for those who like to vacation with less noise and like being surrounded by stunning beauty. We visited near end of May, but we could see that probably both Ballyliffin and the neighboring village Cardonaugh get busy during the summer so I can't address that factor. Beautiful restored Irish cottage in a quiet rural landscape. The views from the property were amazing. The country roads in the area were safe for walking along as there was very little traffic. Pollan Strand and Isle of Doagh are a 5 minute drive away and are wonderful sunset locations.
