In general, we were very pleased with the apartments. Fresh renovation, it was clean, everything is very comfortable and thought out. The owner answered all questions and was friendly. Loved the mountain view from the terrace.

John and Mary have been the kindest hosts. Their house is beautiful, the interior is cozy and simply gorgeous, the bed, bathroom, dining room and surroundings are great. We stayed at this house near Sceine Bay for a family trip and absolutely loved it. The house really blew us away. If you love to cook, this place is a dream come true with all the kitchen gear you could ever need. We ended up making some great family meals right there, just enjoying the space and the amazing view. Another amazing thing about the house is all the books. No matter what you’re into, there’s something for everyone, from Joanne Harris and David Gemmell to Tolkien and more. The location is absolutely beautiful, tucked away in a really scenic part of the bay. We spent a lot of time just taking in the views or heading out to explore. There’s so much nearby to check out, like Helen’s Bar, Derreen Gardens, the town of Kenmare, and the Boathouse Restaurant. We never ran out of things to do or places to eat. Honestly, this house made our trip. It’s the perfect spot if you want to relax, cook great food, or just enjoy good books with family. We’re already talking about when we can go back here, we're regulars of Cork and Kerry. Highly recommend!

If there is something like the perfect place with the perfect host - this is the place. It truely cannot be better. We came by bike on the Ring of Kerry. We had a place to put the bike in and load the battery. We experienced a very warm-hearted host couple who offer superbly clean and comfortable rooms. The support is excellent. The view from the house down onto the creek is one of the best we ever had on our many bike trips.

Maureen was lovely, we were arriving very late to check in but it wasn't a problem at all. The location was slightly out of town but great for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. The bed was very comfortable, there was tea and coffee in the room and breakfast options available in the dining area. Maureen also gave us some excellent tips about where to go. Thank you!
