Beautiful beach and countryside. The beach has lifeguards on duty and also a good quality public toilet and free beach parking. Some good to excellent pubs and restaurants in Spanish Point, but be aware that it may be worth booking as there are not many. However, there are some other pubs and restaurants in nearby Quilty and loads in Miltown Malbay (5 km away). All shopping needs covered in Miltown Malbay.
