I loved how quiet, simple, and rugged the landscape is. Milltown Malbay is perfectly gentle, sweet, and wonderful to explore for a day or two. The swimming is wild and next level Irish. The Cliffs of Kilkee are just as miraculous as the Cliffs of Moher, and free.

Beautiful beach and countryside.

Beautiful beach and countryside. The beach has lifeguards on duty and also a good quality public toilet and free beach parking. Some good to excellent pubs and restaurants in Spanish Point, but be aware that it may be worth booking as there are not many. However, there are some other pubs and restaurants in nearby Quilty and loads in Miltown Malbay (5 km away). All shopping needs covered in Miltown Malbay. Very nice spot for a wedding, family celebration, etc..

Its in a beautiful seaside setting with lots of walks. Miltown Malbay is nearby just a five minute drive where you can visit other pubs and eateries. We also visited beautiful Liscannor and Doolin. We gave the Cliffs of Moher a miss as it looked extremely crowded.

Very cute town, and near to other fun spots.

Very cute town, and near to other fun spots. Good walking in the area. I was there for a wedding and used Spanish Point as my home basis while I toured around the area. There didn't seem to be too much to do right there though.

Speaking as someone who went during the off season and in terrible weather, i loved it. The beach is amazing and the history behind it was great to discover while there. (the sun was out in the photos, but it was about 50kmph winds every day lol)

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful location on the cliff overlooking the beach and ocean. Clean. Excellent service. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Nice pub with live music off the reception area. Fireplaces. Loved it 30 min from cliffs of moher. 45 min from Shannon airport

My stay at Atlantic Coast Lodge in Spanish Point was wonderful. The room was cozy, with very comfortable beds. The games room is fantastic, featuring a pool table, a dartboard, a music system, and many games to keep us entertained. The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The location is perfect, close to the beach. The place was spotless, clean, and well-maintained. I highly recommend it. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which was a great bonus for us. Hope this helps!

My parents stayed at this property for one night and couldn’t have spoken more highly about the owners the attention to detail the beautiful building and surrounds, the tasty breakfast the following morning and the unbelievable welcome they received! Everything was beyond their expectations! Was like a home away from home. Will definitely be recommending to friends looking for a beautiful stay in Spanish Point! Ann and Tim!

The location was excellent - directly opposite the stony beach that is Spanish point. We had 2 apartments for one night, both at the back of the B&B. Both apartments were spacious and their beds were comfortable. We really only used the accommodation to stay over and breakfast so didn't partake in dinner or use the other facilities.
