Swords is a bustling town with a reasonable range of shops and heaps of Cafes. Nearby Pavillions shopping complex is a very large mall with everything you need. Swoprds Castle in town is worth a visit but parking is a major problem in the township unless you carry cash. It would be so much easier if cards were accepted. Streets are narrow and can get congested.

Staying in Swords and getting into Dublin by bus will be the smartest approach you can take to visiting Dublin. Dublin is super busy, making driving a definite no-go. Swords Manor Express is definitely the way to go. Easy, quick and a nice ride.

The Castle at Swords was very interesting and the woman manning the information center was so informative. Her knowledge of the site was a wonderful addition to our visit. Dinner at the Old School House was delicious and the staff very entertaining. It was just a short walk around the corner as well, as long as you're reasonably fit.

Having family here is the main reason for coming to swords, however it’s a lovely place with so much going on. From swords castle to the pavilion, if you fancy abit of shopping and not far from the beaches. It’s so close to the airport which makes it very convenient when you can be at your end destination in left than 40 minutes after landing. If you want to go into the city centre, hopping onto a bus is very simple.

Not for the faint of heart.

Not for the faint of heart. This property ranks at the top of the scale. Immaculate and beautifully appointed in every way. We had the deluxe king room. There is a shared kitchen with private fridges for each guest room loaded with enough food and snacks for a great breakfast. Gillian and Paschal are super hosts.

Where I stayed at in Swords was right across from the Swords pavilion, which was a very large mall that had different restaurants so it met my needs perfectly. I did not walk or ride around Swords. I basically spent more time in Dublin City. But what I did see of Swords, I would definitely recommend that it’s like a nice little cozy town.

Kettles is a great location to Dublin airport! The family room was large, perfect for organizing our luggage to fly out the next day. Bathroom was large and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge, but very reasonable and delicious! We also tested out the restaurants desserts the night before...there's nothing better than Ireland's sweets, and food in general!!

We were only staying for a short stay to make an early flight in Dublin Airport. It was only 10 minutes drive from the long term car park. Very convenient. Room was very comfortable and spotless. I would definitely recommend it if requiring a room close to the airport.
