The rooms are small and the bathroom is down the hall and if the water isn’t hot try the other bathroom, but… what a fantastic night we had!! Our first night in Ireland and we had an amazing time. We sat outside and drank with the locals, moved inside as it got later and colder, people started singing and we ended up going to bed at 2am. Very warm and welcoming locals.

This place is just magical. The host really made us feel most welcome in her space. The whole area is just gorgeous, like stepping into a fairy tale, waking up to those views, and the sound of nature was out of this world. The host left us fresh scones, jam, coffee, milk and tea. Everything was sparkling clean. It's really close to the city, but you still get all the advantages of being out in nature. The hosts were really understanding as well, when my little brother accidentally knocked over one of their lamps. If you are looking for an amazing place to relax and unwind, this is it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rural house near to Kilkenny! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. The hosts were always there to help us with anything we needed and went above and beyond in their generosity. The facilities were excellent—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Amazing hotel - even better than our expectations. The staff (front desk, restaurant, bar) were each friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful (great blackout curtains). DInner at The Grill was wonderful. We really enjoyed the walking trails.

We arrived down from Dublin airport after a delayed flight as the restaurant was closing - the receptionist Savio (?) voluntarily went and asked the kitchen staff if they would delay finishing so we could be served, they did and we were able to enjoy a great meal. Johnny the waiter was also very helpful and obliging, The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable. There was an extensive selection at breakfast to choose from with good coffee. Checkout was quick and friendly. Wonderful staff and a comfortable stay.
