It soothes the nerves and does wonders for one's health. If you a lover of busy (and noisy) nightlife, this is not a place for you. An hour or less by car to Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, S’dom, Beit Guvrin, Mamshit, and many more historical and natural wonders. A small town with a great connection to Jerusalem and Mesada. Even on Sabbath you find a nice bar and Supermarkets open in walking distance from our accomodation. Its great for a short stay to visit Mesada (we went to west-side entrance) and to take a day trip to Dead Sea. From Arad you can either go back north or continue to south.. however, after two nights you find that Arad itself doesnt offer much more to discover..Guest review byJanGermany - 10.0

newly renovated - super clean - well equipped - amazing jacuzzi - most welcoming We had a lovely stay at Bashiri's place! Very friendly and hospitable host who made us feel most welcome immediately. Unfortunately, we were there when the war broke out in Israel but they offered us to stay as long as we needed with no extra cost so we could keep safe. They invited us for a bonfire, to walk around, and to drink some beers so we felt relaxed and at home. We can't thank Kfar Hanokdim enough for everything they did for us. He helps us to find good places in Arad and he drives us to the Busstation our to a restaurant. Also he allowed us to use there bicycles during our stay what helps us a lot being more flexible.
