Closet town to the airbase ( ceremony event ) thought best to take a hotel for a night , enjoy the airforce ceremony and spend the night in Beersheba then head north the following day. The hotel was so bad I truly considered leaving ! Beer Sheva is a great city to visit and also to live in.
Beer Sheva is a great city to visit and also to live in. It was our first time in Beer Sheva, we spent most of the time in the Old City, which we loved. Fast-growing little town with a prestigious university and hospital drawing in people. Parts felt very run-down, but that's true throughout Israel. Went to Beer Sheva mainly for a business trip.
Went to Beer Sheva mainly for a business trip. The restaurants and bars were the only things I could visit. There are various shopping centres. However, I didn't visit them nor did any shopping. Beer Sheva is well connected by train, which is great. To be 100% honest, I don't think there are many things to do there. Particularly for landmarks or tourist attractions. However, remember that from Beer Sheva, you can visit the Dead Sea area and some archaeological ruins outside the city. But these are not close distances.Guest review byprlosanaUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Actually there is nothing to do in this city .
Actually there is nothing to do in this city . There is no any touristing issues here, just very long traffic jams and too much police presence . If you want to explore the Israeli desert , it is better to continue driving south and find accommodation in one of the smaller Israeli towns.Guest review byShai avIsrael
