Rosh Pina by itself isn't a big town, but it's special location, due to it being rather different than other urban areas in Israel. The view is great, and you can feel Israel's history in the decorations when walking up towards the hilltop. It's unusual but wonderful to stay in a hotel where there is nothing to complain about. We do not take advantage of the spa treatments but we feel regenerated every time we stay at Mitzpe Hayamim from the ambience of peace that saturates the environment. Best take a car wherever you go; it's very hilly. Shopkeepers and people in general are helpful and friendly. Shiri Bistro is great food at budget prices, but only open until 4. It's like a homestead in a coniferous forest on top of a hill. We love coming here in winter when the fireplace is lit in the lobby and you sit in a comfortable chair and look at the fire with a cup of tea or coffee.
