The service was great, the food was good, and the hotel was very clean. The room was exactly like in the photos. It was very spacious and had many useful utensils in the kitchenette. The filtered water tank in the room was an amazing detail - it saved us during the hot days. There was a laundry dryer on the balcony which was very useful after taking a swim in the hotel's swimming pool. I felt like the staff has taken a lot of thought in making sure we have everything we need in the room.

one feels at home right away , due to the small size of this hotel, only a few rooms, the paintings on the wall the superb restoration of this old house makes one wander back into the 18the century. The large veranda in the back is where we had dinner and breakfast, which was excellent , truly remarkable place to stay The people who manage the location are very kind and friendly.

The Island House is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I loved the swimming pool, the garden and the terraces. There was always somewhere to sit, sip tea and relax in the most beautiful surroundings. The breakfasts were simply cooked and delicious.
