At De Manora homes, you don't feel like a paying customer. You really feel like being welcomed as a friend. The owner is extremely attentive and helpful. He really does seem to care a lot more about you having a great visit, than about the business. The fact that the place is a little bit outside the bustling centre of the city is an advantage. It is nice and peaceful, and very clean. And in Amritsar, distances are not problematic. Nothing is very far away. Next time we go to Amritsar, we will not shop around for lodging. We will immediately contact De Manora Homes.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional! To begin with, the location is fantastic: it’s away from the hustle and bustle of crowded streets but conveniently close to the airport. The ambience is among the finest I’ve experienced—easily in my top three. And trust me, I’ve traveled extensively. The interiors are stunning, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk through their beautifully maintained green garden after breakfast. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist. As for the food, dinner was delightful. If you enjoy desserts, don’t miss the Moong Dal Halwa—it’s absolutely delicious! The room was spacious, though it could have been a bit cleaner (not a major issue). Its unique design stood out, particularly the closed closet area and the cozy sitting spot by the window, which offers a lovely view of the garden. Another highlight is their 24/7 room service, which adds great convenience to the stay. I could go on and on about how incredibly relaxing my stay was, but words won't do it justice—go experience it for yourself!! 🤗

Its a religious n historical place for sikhs.

Its a religious n historical place for sikhs. Though people from other faiths are also allowed to visit Gurudwara Harmandar saheb. Amritsar is an old city. The infrastructure is very old may be before 1947(Independence). Nearby Gurudwara, roads are Very conjusted in day time so it would be better to park your vehicle n travel by easy rickshaw. Its feels very lively while visiting there. I always feel blessed to visit Gurudwara Harmandar saheb (Dhan Guru Ramdas Saheb ji). I would suggest you to visit once n get the blessings of Guru Ramdas ji🙏🏼🙏🏼

One of the most peaceful devotion places you can visit in India. Not crowded in the early morning, and full of respectful devotees. Being a woman travelling solo in the area, it was really comforting the welcoming atmosphere of the area.

Very Friendly city and the food is so good.

Very Friendly city and the food is so good. Some of the cab guys can keep pushing you to go to shops that they want you to go to. Do a check with reviews to decide where you want to shop and eat. A four day trip would have covered it better ( we stayed for 2 days). Go to the War Museum on the way to the Pakistan border also

Amritsar is a must visit place for all travel loving folks. There are some beautiful locations which are breathtaking in Amritsar. I visited the iconic Golden Temple of Amritsar and also spent some time in Nexus Ambarasar Mall. Getting across Amritsar is simple & easy with Rapido bike services available in Amritsar. What I didn't like in Amritsar was the heaps & heaps of garbage lying across all the roads & bylanes of Amritsar.

This hotel was absolutely exquisite. Our experience in India was that the photos on booking.com didn't always reflect the reality, but, in the case of this hotel, it was every bit as beautiful as in the photos. And the photos can't show the smell of incense or the gentle music playing. It's a 200 year old family home belonging to an aristocratic family, full of antiques and beautiful objects. Amritsar is a crazy city, full of people and noise, but this hotel was a haven of peace.

A fantastically priced and located hotel. Rare to give such a high rating but it hit all expectations. The hospitality has been the best I have ever had, in India and anywhere else, nothing was too much for them. From experience it is always hard to find a good place on booking.com for Amritsar, but rest assured this is excellent.

We stayed in some very good hotels during our trip to India but the Sarovar Premiere would have to be our favourite. The attention to detail and the friendliness and care of the staff is top notch. It was sad to leave this beautiful place. I thoroughly recommend you stay at the Sarovar when you are in Amritsar
