Our stay at Apna Ghar was a much needed respite from the craziness of Delhi and surrounds. The town of Chaukori is so peaceful and this hotel perfectly encapsulates the feeling of getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sumit, the hotel owner is so kind and welcoming to all, and made us feel right at home at Apna Ghar. It feels more like a homestay as Sumit will kindly offer his hospitality, conversation and life experience with you. The home-cooked meals are delicious, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the sunrise view from the balcony is stunning. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This new build hotel offers fantastic views over the Himalaya and has been furnished to a high spec. The owner could not have been more welcoming and in the time that I spent there I felt like part of his family. The hotel is exceptionally good value for money and is just a short distance from Hanging Rock where the whole panorama of the Kumaon mountains can be seen. Great views of Panchachuli. Even a friendly dog called Coco. What's not to like?!

(5/5) Property offers a lot of things, which added to our stay including Bonfire, DJ floor, Fishing, Trek to waterfall. (5/5) Food offered was also decent & very homely and that’s what made it special and tasty. (5/5) Host himself was very sweet and catered to all our request. (5/5) We stayed in the Dom and was within my expectations. 5/5 Everything was perfect and would love to come again.

The ambience was fantastic, the staff very cooperative, the owners Madhur and Ambika , were personally looking after every small details. The interaction with them was at a very friendly and coordial level . They were the best hosts we have ever met in a resort. The food was was very good above all. . OVERALL 10/10
