We did have a very nice stay in that hotel. That's probably one of the most comfortable room we had in India. Location is perfect in fort kotchi. Close to the beach in a charming little street. Staff is lovely. I appreciated that they let you choose between Indian or Continental for breakfast. I recommend warmly

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered a high level of comfort. The location is excellent — right in the center, making it easy to explore the city. What really made the experience even better was the staff: they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in the heart of Fort Cochin

I had an absolutely terrific stay at Sea Coast Inn. I stayed at the property for an entire week and it exceeded any expectations I had - its a beautiful property from the lobby, to the rooms, to the rooftop terrace. Absolutely no hygiene concerns. Everything is so well maintained and the owner and staff are very attentive that a boutique hotel such as this one trumps the experience of any larger chain hotel in my experience. The location is ideal and very central and close to many cultural activities, āyurvedic centers, cafes, restaurants etc. The breakfast is also exceptional, so I would recommend opting in for that. The owner is very passionate about the property and cares about his guests and their experience. Cannot praise the property enough!

Very cozy and clean Homestay in a silent and green yard in the middle of Fort Kochi. Shared kitchen and delicious Kerala breakfast, everyday new. You can relax there after exploring the city, everything is in walking distance, sights, restaurants, shops and you meet other travellers at the table. We even stayed there twice on our trip. Really a tiny paradise! The owners are always there to help arrange everything, full day boattrip is really nice and Kathkali and martial arts definetely an experience! Some tipps: If you get tired of Indian food someday,go to Canvas Pizzeria and eat fresh fish from the fisherman at Vasco de Gamma Square! It’s delicious! And: If you meet the wounded little cat outside, she loves to kuddle and is very thankful if you desinfect her wound with antiseptum from the pharmacy :/

    My Fort Kochi experience was more into appreciating and embracing the colonial settlement historical buildings and the mixed cultural impact. It was simply amazing to look and appreciate the architecture of these buildings. Fortunately, Fort Kochi carries a relaxed and calming vibe, being away from the metropolitan Kochi city.

    it was mostly very laid back, completely different from the mainland. Touristy sometimes and in only a few spots but that also is kind of attractive and reassuring. You'll find real coffee for example and more people that speak English. There were not many things to visit but every site was very interesting and informative. A ride with the ferry to the mainland was fun. By accident we found a huge supermarket with interesting food items on the other (mainland) side Getting aroud was very easy, tuk tuks everywhere. But 9 out of 10 drivers try to let you pay 5-10 times the usual price for a ride. We usually agreed upon 3-4 times. We could not visit the small Fort Kochi beach, it was already 31 degrees Celcius at 10.00 am and at noon it was around 36°C

    Enjoyed the sightseeing using a local tuk tuk driver.

    Enjoyed the sightseeing using a local tuk tuk driver. In the space if a few hours he showed us all the important sights with rushing us. Walking around Fort Kochi was not safe as pavements were uneven and cluttered with rubbish and concrete everywhere.

    Great place , friendly, find a good tuk tuk driver, tip well and you might stay out of the carpet and antique shops 😂 . Get the ferry to Vypin island , about 3 pence , ten minute crossing and go to the beaches there on a tuk tuk.

    I love the heritage structures around this area.

    I love the heritage structures around this area. Each lane I went was so unique and beautiful with it's own story . I could just walk all day long and yet I wouldn't get tired. One can walk around without much difficulty. People are extremely friendly and polite. There are scores of places to sit and eat be sea food continental or the local cuisines.

    I liked the cute little streets, the many restaurants and cafes. I liked the fishing that was being done. I liked the ferries that were fun to go on and amazingly cheap. I liked that we could so easily rent bicycles to ride around on. I like the Art show that was on. We went on a couple of bicycle rides, down the coast and up the middle of the island - the main roads were busy but the small narrow roads were lovely to go on. We also biked up north - it was Christmas day so not much on the roads.
