There are many spots for sightseeing in and around specially Brahmaputra river cruise in the evening also one cannot sum up Guwahati without mentioning Kamakhya temple. Guwahati is the gateway to north east India. With river Brahmaputra to the north and the hills of Meghalaya to the south, Guwahati is a city of temples, rivers and hills. Travelers can go to nearby Pobitora for a sureshot glimpse of the world famous one-horned rhino in a natural setting. Avisit to Kamakhya temles and the smallest inhabited river island of Umananda is a must.
