The ambience of this place is amazing with its beautiful, historic buildings and amazing, bird filled gardens. The staff were all wonderful and the family that owns the palace very welcoming and hospitable. Food was good and the swimming pool great.

The Exemplary Service can be experienced at every single touchpoint rather 24 hours before you physically step at the property, such a picturesque well-maintained property complemented by exceptionally courteous staff. We are so thankful to the entire team @ Rajvilas for making our time so memorable especially for my kids who unfortunately seldom experience this beauty and warmth of India. Special mention of tireless service by Abhishek Chowdhury, Paras, Shiv, Shubham and Thanks to Kushagra Seth for such exquisite and scrumptious spread / recommendations on food during our stay. you guys’ really ROCK. This review is based on a short 1-night stay in September 2023. I paid 10000 INR for a “Luxury Room King Bed” including breakfast and dinner. I didn’t get to experience everything the hotel had to offer, but what I did experience was fantastic and I’d love to come back and stay here again. The room was great, with lots of space, good table area, large bed, bath, shower, all the amenities I could need (lots of bottled water), and very clean. There was a balcony, which was a bit dirty, but had fantastic views of the nearby hills. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and stable. The A/C was very powerful and managed to cool the room efficiently, and could be fully turned off. The hotel is located far away from everything, which means it is very quiet. There is a nice garden to take a walk in. The main noise source was the hotel electric buggies, which would rumble as they passed by below my room. Luckily, the last one I heard was a bit past 10 pm. Beyond that, there was simply the gentle background sounds of nature. The service was stellar, from check-in to check-out, the personnel treated me extremely nicely. There is a small hotel shop, where I bought a reasonably-priced souvenir. The stand-out to me was the included dinner. I was told I could order anything and everything off the menu with no additional charge (except for beverages). They did slightly mess up the order and brought the appetizer after the main, but that is easily forgotten considering the food taste and presentation were exceptional. I had some of the best lamb I’ve ever had. At check-out, I was asked where I was heading. Going on tour, they proactively provided me with a free lunch box containing more than enough bread, sandwiches, and fruit for the rest of my day. All in all, I had a wonderful time, and was met with service and quality that would cost many times more in many other parts of the world.

The Taj Amer was one of the highlights of our time in Jaipur. The room was beautifully designed and kept exceptionally clean, and the hotel amenities were excellent. However, the Taj Amer stands out from other five-star hotels due to the staff dedicated to providing a personalised experience for their guests. For my birthday, they not only framed a picture of my partner and me to mark the occasion, but they helped my partner orchestrate a heartwarming surprise that exceeded both our expectations. A heartfelt thank you to Shashthavi, Priyanshi, Kunal, and Shahi for making our stay so incredibly special. We hope to return to the Taj Amer during our next visit to Jaipur!

    Kanota itself is a busy town by the main highway.

    Kanota itself is a busy town by the main highway. It is a fair drive (45 mins) from the major Jaipur sightseeing spots. There is a supermarket, liquor shop & many small shops a short walk from the hotel. We saw no other tourists during our stay & were quite an oddity for the locals! There may be local sights to visit but they were not advertised / sign posted & we never found them. In hindsight, we would have been better to stay the extra 2 nights in Jaipur itself.
