Excellent location, calm and serene place amongst coffee plantations. The monsoon rains added to the vibe and we had a great time. The authentic regional / home food... the candle-lite dinner they arranged for us.... was a surprise.... the lush green coffee estate is soothing to the eye.... we enjoyed the homestay... the owners' family was very pleasant to interact and were very hospitable.

For us, Hirvate Estate was like an oasis in the wilderness. On arrival the first thing we saw was an elegant manor house and close by, four charming fully equipped bungalows, one of which was ours. We enjoyed the quiet relaxation of being there and especially the coffee (his!) and treats brought to us on the on the verandah...breakfast was great too!! Exploring their working coffee and pepper plantation was an experience in itself.
