Exceptionally clean,everything was in working order-lights,air conditioning, locks ,shower and a toilet.The room is spacious,bed is big and comfortable. There is also a fridge and a wardrobe.Balcony is big with table and chairs and there is also a drying rack. Breakfast is basic,included in the price. Everything was really as described. The manager and the staff are friendly and helpful. The property is a short walk from the beach and in the quiet area . I extended my stay as it was so comfortable.

Kovalam is only 30 minutes from the International Airport in Trivandrum. Hotel Thushara is a perfect place for relax. Silence, good food, clean water in the swimming pool. Short walking distance to the main beach. People from Thushara hotel can organize trips around, They organized for us a boat trip from Alleppey to backwaters cannals. Hotel staff is very helpful

A great place to rest up for a few days.

A great place to rest up for a few days. Great restaurants along Light House Beach and fabulous shopping opportunities for gem jewellery, clothes and textiles, many are tucked away down the side alleys. Delicious food at Crab Club! Ali's Restaurant and Curry Leaf round the bay are both great places away from the hustle of the main stretch.

There’s crazy traffic on the roads - no rules, no traffic lights (maybe just one!), yet no crashes, no accidents, and no pedestrians getting run over! 🤪 There are lots good fish restaurants, but sanitation is still questionable.

Compared to Varkala I found it easy. It’s well geared-up for Europeans and the shopping is great. However, it’s a small place so ten days was far too long for me to be there. On the whole it is cheaper than Varkala and although dangerous for swimming, it is manageable, unlike Varkala where I was unable to actually swim for five days

2 or 3 days is enough for a short break in the beach area as its quite small.Nice restaurants and shops,beach and sea clear.Sun loungers and parasols cheap for the day .Street sellers can be pushy and too many but they just trying to get business.

Good place to visit but stay in the hotels on the main road. Enjoy sea food in the restaurants on the beach. The beach needs clean up of rubbish. The best place to eat was Lonely Planet and Jeevan restaurant for beer and food.

Kovalam is a nice beach.

Kovalam is a nice beach. I had visited this place almost 40 yrs back as a kid but this time was a difference experience altogether. It is great if you are able to hire a car here and then move around. The experience from lighthouse on the lighthouse beach is something unique. The beach itself is nice and clean and you do get beds at INR 100 where you can rest and put your clothes while you take a small dip in the sea. In case you are looking for vegetarian food, the options are less but not non-existent. Overall a very nice stay.

Hotel is situeted on the first line of Arabic sea, view and sunset from the room was amazing. For ariving the owner Arun organized the taxi from airport. All staff is very gentle and polite, Specialy thanks to Edwin, hi is professional manager. There's also a nice terrace with ayrveda and indian cusine.

Perfect location and quiet place, just 1 minute by walk to enjoy the beach. Comfortable dormitory and clean bathroom. Breakfast is very tasty with dosa, idli and sambar. What's more, the staff are very friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. Such a good place to stay in Kovalam.

Nothing actually as it’s misleading to be a 5 star hotel. It is not by any means or standard a 5 star hotel. Very bad experience and was meant to be a momentous occasion. Hotel Management manipulative behaviour is disgraceful.
