The Quo Vadis farm is an exquisite 150 year old family home tucked into the dense greenery of the Mangwa forest, exuding warmth and an old world charm. The hostess and her staff share a deep commitment towards history and tradition and yet go out of their way to provide the guests with all kinds of amenities possible. We loved the sumptuous breakfast spread, the unique taste of rai saag at lunch freshly plucked from the garden, piping hot finger chips with our evening tea. Lovely trails snake through the forest leading to quaint little church buildings and gumpha s with breathtaking view points. Super friendly dogs keep you company all along the way. The rooms are squeaky clean and bathrooms are fitted with water heaters and showers to rejuvenate your tired body after a steep climb.The quirky furniture, the cosy library space with an interesting and eclectic collection of books all add to the wholesome and eminently agreeable vibes of the place.If you are up for a fuss free getaway into the lap of nature, this is the place for you.

Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

It was like staying at a homestay but with the facilities of a great hotel. The staff are like one big family - nothing was too much trouble for them. The huge window out to the balcony and the incredible view (even with the haze hiding most of the mountains). They really catered for our vegetarian diet, serving dishes that weren’t on the menu so we still got varied offerings (try the riltok soup - it’s incredible!). Close enough to drop into kalimpong easily but down a dead end road so absolutely peaceful and totally silent at night - bliss! We walked straight out of the hotel and down into the forest for a beautiful trek.

This is a special property that gives a feel of a bygone era. The rooms, my bedroom and public rooms all are done in "traditional" classic style and done with great attention to detail. And the grounds sitting out on the lawn sipping tea and looking out over the green mountains is so relaxing. I loved this property and would absolutely return again. The manager Manooch (spelling?) was hands on very personable making sure I was happy with all.

The view of Kanchenjunga is the best part of this place. I went with my 50+ parents, so comfort and homely food was my first priority and I believe I received more than I expected. Although we didn’t book a Mountain View room, we could see it from our window. Rooms- Cleaned everyday, provided slippers and towel. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Clean lined and blankets. Staff- Very friendly and courteous. Always ready to help. Booked us cab for sightseeing. Food and Water- Food was homely and very delicious in affordable price. Water bottles available for purchase in a very affordable rate. I, along with my parents are very satisfied with our stay, looking forward to visit again for sure
