Nice homestay located just a few steps to the beach. Rooms are spacious and clean. Owners are very helpfull and polite. The food they serve is delicious if you order additionaly. Marari beach I think is the best in Kerala. 100% recommend.

A fantastic way to start our trip to Kerala - Babu arranged our pickup at the airport and he and his family immediately made us feel at home. The food is fantastic - opt for dinner and breakfast and you will not be disappointed. We had such an amazing variety of delicious foods, fruits and juices. The AC is super effective and the fans keep you cool on the veranda. The beach is a few minutes away, with a few beach cafe choices right down the way. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing property next to the beach. Quiet, beautiful with very clean rooms. The most important is that the owner is so friendly and caring, prepares delicious food and tea and really does her best to satisfy the guest needs. It is the best experience we had in Kerala. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and comfortable. The property is walkable distance from the beach. Our host, Mr. Byju was excellent. The common area of the property has excellent tree cover. Consequently, even during a hot day, we could use the hammock.

Dear Abad Turtle Beach, thank you for making our stay memorable. You will remain in our hearts. The days in your resort were really a bliss for us. The resort is really wonderful and peaceful, very good location on the beach, it is clean and very well maintained. The rooms are very nice decorated in Kerala style and I have also loved the bathroom with a plant growing inside. Inside the resort, all the time, there are people who are doings thing to maintain the cleanliness and all the vegetation to be green. Also, all the team is really nice and make you feel spoiled. The food is very good and fresh, we have enjoyed sea foods, fish and some other goodies from the area. Very tasty and all the team from the restaurant has treated us very nice. Thank you, Guys! Also, the team from the Reception has helped us to arrange a trip to Kochi and to Munnar and we have traveled with a very kind and super good driver, AlanSojan. Thank you, Sir for your services!     Very small sleepy village perfect for a remote escape. Unspoiled beach and nature with friendly inhabitants. A total escape. It is not a tourist spot but a quiet escape. The remoteness means little amenities like restaurants and shops. Come prepared with some snacks and supplies. A large resort hotel and some smaller ones, along with homestay, but little else for the independent traveller

    Great area - a little away from the hustle & bustle of other areas so it is quieter. The beach is beautiful, clean & quiet. Easy to get transport to other areas for more activity - close to backwater tours etc. Only limitation is perhaps lack of eating out options within walking area, best to have hotel with restaurant otherwise will need to travel by tuk tuk or taxi.

    The resort was a little too far away from the beach and the beach had no chairs, shade or umbrellas making it very difficult to stay very long. The surrounding area was not good to stroll around. The massage treatments are a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away and are quite expensive for India £34. We have been paying £15 previously.

    I was at much trouble due to the stay at Mararikulam due to booking at Spot On Sb Cruise, Aleppey (There is no such property). So I was to search for another property with the help of some Good Local peoples and by their efforts, I got a place to sleep.

    I like very much all areas of Mararikulam, I think it is cleaner than other places. The beach is amazing and magical, people are very kind. it is a paradise on earth, unfortunately, my resort needs some restoration, especially rooms, and the swimming pool. Nature is really enchanting I was in Seclude Marari sand resort, potentially the best part of the beach but the resort needs some work. It is quite expensive for the services it offers

    A very friendly family run hotel in a great location. A welcome haven after a 14 day tour of S India. There’s a lovely pool and restful gardens and it is just a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach. My room was very clean, spacious and cool with a comfortable bed and opened out onto a covered veranda overlooking the pool and garden. Breakfast was excellent and dinner could be ordered and cooked by a talented chef at a very reasonable price - and all served by the delightful Rose
