This was a great place for safari! The food was yum! They even arranged campfire. The host was friendly and informative. There is a police post that needs to be crossed before 8:45pm to enter Masinagudi. The close the entry due to wildlife activity. Huge double beds and very clean facility.

The route is very scenic, you'll get to see several wild animals on the route. There are good restaurants in the city. The climate is also very good, but try not to roam around at night as elephants might be there. Also, due to less pollution you can see stars clearly at night.

Great location for people wanting to experience stay in...

Great location for people wanting to experience stay in forest reserve. However a little out of way. Food choices in the hotel were limited but adequate and well cooked. Hot water was a plus. Masinadudi is not a place for much sightseeing other than the hit or miss safaris. Also no city center to hang out. So hotel or safari are only choices. Overall a unique and different experience from standard hotels. I do have to commend the staff for their helpfulness and curtesy.

Peaceful village adjacent to the forest- full of scenic locations and serenity. Mudumalai and Bandipur are very nearby so that you can plan your jungle safaris Ooty is also not so far and the route to ooty is filled with scenic spots.

It's been a wonderful stay for 2 nights with my family and friends at Tamarind property, Masinagudi. Property owner Mr. Kumar and Manager Mr. Manu were very helpful and sweet. The property has a beautiful garden with green lush landscape facing Nilagiri mountain.The property serves only Veg food including breakfast. But, They arrange non veg homemade foods for us from outside at request. We look forward to visiting them again on our next visit.

It's a total disaster. If u want to be dumped, try it. We crash landed in masinagudi and unfortunately landed up in this place. ₹3500 for nothing. No AC. They charge ₹700 for AC. Its a shabby house converted into a so-called guest house. If u r n masinagudi, better try govt accommodation or something worth of paying. .

Nice garden and view from the individual terrace. Brand new bathroom. Good chairs for reading on the balcony (in many other hotels these chairs were not available). Good food, good service. Overall a very pleasant place to stay, close to the busstation and the jeeps that can drive you around the park
