Mundromocktail Tourist Home Managed by the friendly couple, Mr. Vinod and his wife, Mundromocktail Tourist Home is a special place surrounded by nature. The wooden house is clean and inviting, giving a calm break from busy city life. The unique wooden design of the house makes it charming and cozy. It's simple but adds a nice touch, making it a pleasant stay for guests. During my visit, Mrs. Vinod cooked tasty meals using fresh, local ingredients. The food was delicious and added a lot to my experience at the homestay. Mundromocktail Tourist Home also offers a fun canoe ride at Munroe, organized by the hosts. It's a nice way to enjoy the peaceful waters and nature around the property. Mr. Vinod's mocktail shop is a special spot, where he makes refreshing mocktails. What's great is that he uses only natural ingredients, making the drinks tasty and fitting perfectly with the natural surroundings.

This place is run by Vijeesh in his family home and has been in business for 15 years for a reason! The rooms are very nicely designed with outdoor spaces to relax. The common dining area is a lovely place to enjoy the delicious home cooked food--You have the option to order lunch and dinner. The boat trips are absolutely unforgettable due to the stunning scenery and abundant nature in the area. There was also a strong wifi signal. As a lifelong traveller, this is the kind of place I'm always delighted to find.

Our stay at Mundro Garden Homestay was amazing. Deepa and her family were so welcoming and kind. We were always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. The room was very comfortable and clean and was located in a nice quiet, private corner of the garden. The table and chairs outside offered a great space to relax and eat meals. The homestay offers bicycle rental at a very reasonable 200 rupees per day. The food prepared every day was amazing! Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed trying all of the local Keralan dishes that Deepa and her family made. You must also take the boat tour, it really showcases the beauty of the island. Overall, we absolutely love this homestay and will definitely return if we come back to Kerala!

The host family is so helpful. The food is unbelievable, and the rooms are the best I have stayed in at this price range. Munroe has been the highlight of the trip so far. Only wish I had stayed longer. If you are going to Munroe, stay here you won't be disappointed.

Devika and her family are very warm and kind. They made us feel at home. The homestay is peaceful and very clean with a wonderful garden, and Devika cooks the most delicious meals. We did the sunrise boat trip with Devika's father in law, which was beautiful. Thanks for everything!

A gem of a homestay and a gem of a host. From the moment we came to the property, it felt like a little slice of paradise tucked away right next to the water, abs beautiful home away from home! Location is spot on and the owner Suresh was also nice enough to give us his two bicycles for us to explore the island freely. Plenty of space inside and out, all well maintained. Great, homely area outside on the veranda to chill and have food/tea/coffee, which the family is always more than happy to prepare. Suresh will work hard every day to ensure we had everything we needed, including canoe ride, booking transport and also a ride on his very own motorbike around the island's more tucked away corners. We def recommend this homestay to anyone coming to Munroe Island and we hope to return again.
