The staff hospitality is awesome! they really care about you. The staff can help you to book train tickets, find a tooktook, recommend places to go. We rented a bike here, it’s not expensive, so it’s more convenient to explore places. Breakfasts are wonderful, you can have how much you want and whatever you want. Hotel located in amazing exotic place, close to the ocean, beautiful and clean beaches nearby. It has own garden, so you can enjoy the view from territory of the hotel. Totally recommend Kerala cottage!

Tiny Temple is a rare gem set back from a quiet section of 'the strip' close to Black Beach. Swati, the host, couldn't be sweeter. He was really helpful and made us feel completely at home. The location and view from the rooftop/deck is unbeatable and the price was totally reasonable (we were there just before 'high' season). New Wifi is being installed which will be the cherry on top! Another perk was the fine folks at Elina's Clifftop Restraunt (next door) who were really accommodating and even offered room/rooftop service. My daughter and I took a risk on a spot without reviews and in this case we're so glad we did. Can't recommend it highly enough.

if you’re looking for something off the beaten track that’s low key but nice this is the place for you. as there are few rooms the supper was chosen in advance by the cook and was delicious. very special. the manager, Robinson, is very attentive and wants you to have a lovely time. the lake views are lovely. if you want international hotel this isn’t for you. if you want something lovely with a local feel this is it.

I've travelled in India (and Varkala) several times and this has been by far the best accommodation I've been to. We've stayed here for six nights. The room is very big and clean. It all seems to be pretty new. More than enough lights and sockets (fully functioning), closet, chairs, mirrors, big bed.. Everything comfy and feels like a small home. The bathroom as well, (seems to be very new!), good lights in the bathroom, mirror, ventilation, also a window and strong shower (what's often hard to find). Honestly, there's nothing we could complain about. The staff it's been super welcoming, nice and helpful. They organised for us the transport to Trivandrums airport, and also helped us with some transport tikets we needed to book. Not even 5 minutes walking to the beach, and it's same price or probably cheaper than many others around that have much smaller rooms and look pretty old! Still can't believe it. By the way, zero moskitos in the rooms! (don't know how, but not even one). Overall, a great experience. It's such a clean and neat place, a total gem! If we are back in Varkala, we'll definately stay here again :) Congratulations for such a great place and thank you so much!
