The hosts were lovely and welcoming and full of knowledge of what's best to do and see in the surrounding area. Shared the guesthouse with another couple but was still able to feel like I had the place to myself Hosts provided a breakfast hamper which was lovely of them. No complaints at all.

A peaceful cabin in the middle of a "wood", the host decorated with detail and so passionate that I can feel it. You have everything that you need. Certainly if I comeback to Iceland I will book this cabin. Only one caveat, make sure when you come still have daylight to find the cabin.

We deliberately stayed at the Icelandic Lake House for the second time because we feel very comfortable there. The house is in a quiet location and incredibly cosy. You feel right at home. There is simply nothing missing. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, a hot tub invites you to relax.

Very beautiful cottage, equipped with everything in an amazing place with nice view. Suitable also for aurora observation(we saw it just from the window). All excellent.
