Beautiful, clean room. Every staff member we interacted with were wonderful, especially Adele at the front desk and Tomas in the restaurant. This hotel is top notch and we decided to book another stay here towards the end of our trip because we loved it so much! The dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed every part of it from the homemade bread to the delicious main courses to the incredible desserts!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gaukshof! 🌟 The property is full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy , perfect for a relaxing night after exploring the area. The location is great, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby sights. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Just loved it! Such a nice, cozy place. The architecture of the tower is great, the room small but really nice, the bathroom-setup is smart. We really had a great time. Unfortunately, no Aurora, but thats nature. The views are amazing anyways. Highly recommend the place!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so for me, this was the best accommodation we had in Iceland. Sure enough, I am aware that not everybody will find this perfect, but for us it was. In fact, I liked it so much that now I want to build my own cottage at home :)

    The host are very nice.

    The host are very nice. The garden is big and beautiful and it is fantastic to see different roses in Iceland:). There is a spa in the garden. We arrived late and left early next morning, so we have no enough time to enjoy the house and garden. There is only one small problem: some cooking material/equipment such as paper, oil, coffee machine are not provided.
