The location for this little house is great, you are involved by the nature around you and no city noises. The communication with the hosts was easy and quick. The house has enough amenities for a short stay and the hosts left two fresh eggs on the fridge for us to use, which was a lovely gesture. Definitely would repeat it. :)

Excellent location and very nice place, very comfortable rooms. Beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. The owners of the hotel are very nice and friendly people. We got a very delicious cake for good bye . If I come back to Iceland I will visit this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at Staðarhóll Guesthouse! The place was warm, very clean and comfortable. We could cook easily, which was super convenient. The hot water was perfect, and to top it all off — we even got to see the Northern Lights right from the property!

EVERYTHING. Our group of 8 absolutely loved this place like our own. Beautiful, huge bathroom. Great dining area with kitchen. Very responsive communication and very helpful as well when we have some small requests. 100% would stay here again and for a longer time if we could. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, tranquil location overlooking a lovely lake. We borrowed a kayak and paddled out to an island. Within range of both Husavik and Myvatn sights. Lovely terrace with a hot tub in which we enjoyed the evening sunshine.

The location is perfect, very near to Husavík. The cabin is exactly as it looks on pictures, very comfy and practical. The owners are super nice, they show us the horses they have and they left some breakfast on the fridge for us. I totally recommend this place.
