This place is very special in many ways. The rooms are clean, each with their own bathroom, there‘s a sauna, which we did not use and a hot pot, which we also did not use, available. A very nice breakfast was offered, which included eggs, bread, jam, cheese and ham. The common room is very cozy, but if you are not a fan of hunting trophies, you should probably not spend too much time there.

Overlooking Djupivogur Harbour, Hotel Framtid is 8 km from Búlandstindur Mountain. It offers local seafood specialities, a bar and free private parking.

Very cozy rooms on the eastern tip of the south coast. Perfect stopover as you make your way around Iceland. The restaurant offers delicious food. Very nice staff.

Lovely waterfront location. The hotel (and parking) is spread over 3 buildings which was a little confusing on arrival, but we were given a wonderful room overlooking the fjord. Great views of the water, mountains and wildlife (ducks, waders & a seal). Good food at breakfast & dinner; friendly staff.

A very charming place with lovely, clean, and beautifully decorated rooms. The kitchen was well equipped, and the view from the room was really nice. Great communication with the staff.
