The hosts (who go above and beyond) , location, the facilities were nothing short of amazing! We are so glad we booked a night, wish we would have been able to stay longer. The view from the guesthouse is just lovely. Even when it's pouring rain and windy as can be! We hope to be back!

We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The outdoor heated pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect, with wide variety of food. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Herring House. The cabin is super cozy and well equipped for our stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable of our two weeks traveling around Iceland. We also enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower despite the weather! Dagur was a great host, highly recommended 🎖

Great place! Wonderful location 50 meters from the ocean, a quiet and peaceful place where you can feel close to nature. Amazing balcony views of mountains, town and fjord. Large well equipped one bedroom flat. Booked an hour before we came and they immediately had the cleaner get the place ready for us.
