We had an early flight so was great to stay so close to the airport. The hotel provided a shuttle to the airport which was super quick. Our rooms were lovely and spacious. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and had dinner at the restaurant. The food was amazing! The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect …beautiful view of the harbor and was able to see the Northern Lights. The staff were kind and efficient. The room was clean , comfortable and spacious. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff stayed late to accommodate us . We loved the rooftop pool and it even snowed on us. Great place to stay!

The service desk night manager was a wonderful woman who took great care of all her guests despite the stress of tens of guests coming in from the airport due to a cancelled plane. Iceland air had done a horrible job helping their stranded guests and hardly anyone had got their vouchers. She still tried her very best to help everyone get accommodations. She kept control on who was next in line without us having to actually stand in line. She took great care of everyone and when she saw that I could barely walk, she pulled out a wheelchair for me. I greatly appreciate her help and her great care of us.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

There are two lighthouses (one old and one new), a museum, a restaurant, a hotel, and meadows with Icelandic horses. The nearest town with restaurants and shops is about 5 km away. The drive to the airport takes about 15 minutes.

A small village near Keflavik Airport.

A small village near Keflavik Airport. There isn't much going on, but it has a lighthouse, a charmingly rustic restaurant right next to it, and a small museum. We were in Iceland in November, and I imagine it's beautiful there in the summer. You can take a nice walk in the village itself or relax by the sea.

Good views if there is no fog - it occurs occasionally at the tip of the lighthouse. Short drive to Bue Lagoon, airport, beautiful volcanic area a short drive away. Great location and a really high-quality restaurant. Good value for money.

Relatively new accommodation.

Relatively new accommodation. Really nicely decorated and with spacious rooms with a great view of the sea. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely. The place was about 15 minutes from the airport, which was convenient. There was no restaurant on site, but we were directed to a nice place about 5 minutes walk away with good food and a great view.

There's not much going on in Gardur itself.

There's not much going on in Gardur itself. It has lighthouses and a swimming pool. However, the surrounding attractions, such as the Blue Lagoon and the Bridge Between Continents, are easily accessible from there.

We stayed for six nights in one of the Gardur studios, which was a great place to spend our time in Iceland. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and cozy. We even managed to watch the northern lights from the window of our bedroom. Something that we will never forget. Margret is wonderful, always helpful in case you need. Thank you for everything

The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

This is a beautiful place in Gardur. Little far from Reykjavik but really nice. Place is warm and super cosy. The staffs are very nice people. I loved staying here.
