Arrived at the Gulfoss on a bitterly cold blizzardy evening just as it was getting dark. We got exactly what we’d hoped for, a clean, modern and warm accommodation with a spacious room. Had a beer in the bar area then a good sleep before getting up for stunning sunrise landscape views from the breakfast room. The breakfast was really good, no hot food but not an issue for us.

Little Houses separately in the middle of the field. Nice views with glass in the dinning/kitchen room. Comfortable. Woman owner very nice and kind. Owners have a restaurant with delicious lamb, soup lamb and fillet lamb with vegetables in oven. They have sheeps as farmers. The best and really Iceland food we had. We had a very nice time there. Many thanks!!!!!

Lovely hotel on the golden circle. Really easy to check in, rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The restaurant Mika across the road was very good and convenient. Hot tubs were a nice addition.

The accomodation, breakfast, lovely owner and staff were exceptional. The kitchen had everything that you needed and more. You can even do your washing if required. A bonus is the lovely hot spring available after a days hiking or sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland.

Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland. Although I was skeptical of a hotel, located at a tourist, attraction, the hotel impressed us. The facility was new. The restaurant was top notch. In the evening After the tourist flow slows down, it is awesome to have so close to a cool attraction

We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland.

We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland. The location right next to the Geysir was perfect, as we were able to spend some time there in the evening after dinner. This allowed us to spend more time at other attractions within the Golden Circle during the day. Early check was available for us. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food and service for both was very good. The portions served for dinner were generous. Breakfast was included in our stay, there was a lot of variety to choice from.

A one night stop her while touring the Golden Circle.

A one night stop her while touring the Golden Circle. Perfect location and a lovely Hotel. Food good. Rooms comfortable and plenty big enough. We were then a short drive away from the Gullfoss Waterfalls.
