Everything, especially the owners were extremely nice, polite and kind (especially the old lady). Rooms were comfy, they have 2 toilets and even a hot tub. Amazing and cozy place to stay. Very recommendable.

We had a wonderful holiday in Iceland, and this cabin was perfect! It was cozy, well-equipped, and set in a beautiful, quiet location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway! Hottub was a nice extra!

This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We only wish we had booked more nights — it was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the road. The views, the atmosphere, the comfort… everything exceeded our expectations. This was the best stay during our trip! An entire small house with two bedrooms and living room/kitchen and a terrace with a grill. Beautiful location - private however only half an hour drive from Akureyri. Perfect when coming for whale watching, driving the Diamond Circle. Totally recommending it.

A lovely location outside Akureyri (12 minutes or so) set on the side of the fjord with great views of the surrounding mountains and good for northern lights if they are kind enough to show. Our bedrooms were in a separate building to the main building, were clean and comfortable with comfy beds and good showers. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good variety of things to choose from. There is a nice lounge area and a great walk down to the water’s edge. The staff couldn’t have been kinder, helping us out when one of our group was not well.

Situated in central Akureyri, Centrum Hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Akureyri Public Swimming Pool is 500 metres away.

The room looked very nice, was clean and practical and the bed was very comfortable. They make good coffee and you can make yourself waffles for breakfast!

This hotel is on Akureyri’s main street, Hafnarstraeti, less than 2 km from Akureyri Airport. It offers en-suite guest rooms, free parking and views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Husavík is 90 km away.

Lovely big room with nice shower room. View over rooftops to the harbour and sea. Selfcatering kitchen was a commercial style facilities so a little of a challenge to use.
