We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. The bedding was very nice and the kitchen perfectly stocked with dishes. The playground was fun. The office sells some camping supplies. There are not enough showers, only one for each gender. The kitchen/cooking area is bare bones. There are some nice tables inside. The staff was very helpful and kind.Guest review byK - 10.0

Hofn is great, quiet and cosy, but I believe that staying in the nearby villages is even more comfy. The town has a few great restaurants, a really wonderful little pool with hot tubs. We loved this town and wish we had been able to stay 2 nights! It was rainy and foggy during our stay so could not really see the full beauty of it. We went to the tourist information center and were greeted by a very helpful women. We booked a family room and the space is alright and the facilities is just acceptable. The cabins were constructed next to a some kind of a truck workshop and the reception is 1km away. They have a restaurant if you want to have a dinner. Breakfast buffet was one of the better ones we had during our stay in Iceland including vegan food. The staff was extremely kind. There are enough parking spaces for everyone. We broke a window handle which was replaced immediately and were compensated by the hotel with a phenomenal chocolate cake which I can only suggest.Guest review byRobertAustria

Also, it's very near Stokksnes Beach and Hofn. The room was comfortable. It's simple, yet you have everything you need for short stays and it is warm. It is located right on the main road, but is well protected by a wall and a pasture with (in our case) two Icelandic horses. The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is well thought out, practical, beautiful, and clean. A truly lovely place where you would want to stay longer.
