The apartment was beautiful and in absolutely pristine condition; it left nothing to be desired. The location was picturesque and the breakfast was the most exquisite and lovingly prepared we’ve had in Iceland.

The family-owned Stafafell Cottages is located on a sheep farm in the countryside, 30 km from Höfn village. Each cottage has well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower.

Very convenient cottage. Spacious for 4 person family. We hiked nearby (200m from flat) Hvannagir Canyon loop, 16 kilometers on 2nd day. Very nice hiking root and nice scenery. Near by lamb farm also nice attraction. Sea and mountain view. Perfect location for Iceland roundtrip.

The couple working there were fantastic. Very welcoming and thoughtful. We had a problem with our car and they fetch us and helped us in everything we needed it. Fantastic! Besides, the huts are very comfortable.

The room is really spacious, beds are comfortable and they do have big, dark curtains, so in june-july we were able to have “night” in the room.
