Lovely spacious bedroom and living room. Fantastically clean facilities and very warm - had to open the windows even in late November. Got to see Northern lights by just talking a few steps away from the guesthouse. Views over the lava fields is unbelievable. The waffles were a great touch.

The room was very cozy and had a great view! Beds were comfortable and the food was great. The staff are all nice and friendly. I've ordered brownies for my husband's birthday, and they added tiramisu with it and a cute little happy birthday sign, and didn't charge me for it.

I am sure there will be more activity and beautiful place to see in a nice day or summer. We are luck to get good temp in our trip (most day above the freeze and one day reached about 10C). We are not luck since there is no sun in all the trip except when we fly back to US. The mountain and beach are great even with cloud and frog.

Opportunity to see and enjoy beautiful untainted nature in the south of Iceland. Most of all we loved the Fjadrargljufur Canyon and Dverghamrar Cliffs and two wonderful glacier lagoons within easy driving distance, Fjallsarlon and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. In the evening we had a lovely dinner at the Fosshotel Nupar. Great place to view the Northern Lights in the right season.

It's important to plan meals and fuel supplies well because the area is beautiful but too isolated. Places visited - Kirkjugolf, Fjadrargljufur, Svartifoss, Skaftafell; however, it's very easy to find new points of interest along the road. Wherever there are parked cars, there's surely something of interest.

Idyllic and relatively unknown to tourists. Strategically well-located between Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon and Skaftafell. From our accommodation, we could see two small waterfalls. With more time, we could have gone on hikes, for example to a large, also little-known waterfall.

Really tasteful and surprisingly spacious cottage, with comfortable beds and a variety of facilities for cooking, etc. I appreciated that there was coffee and coffee filters on site to pour in. Games and more for kids on site, which was fun.

We only stayed one night but enjoyed waking up to beautiful weather and opening onto the terrace. The spóars and lóur sang their morning songs with great skill. Lómagnúpur and Öræfajökull were shining in all their glory. Don't miss out on a hike outside the hotel, nature embraces you and envelops you in its own unique way.
