We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived later than expected because our toddler has car sickness sometimes. Not only they waited for us until later than 10pm, but they even offered us to wash the dirty (vomited) clothes. They also heated up the room in advance to make sure it was comfortable upon arrival. The room was big and spacious, clean, and the views from the room make it perfect to see the Northern Ligths on a clear night (unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather).

The best thing was the dinner we had at night. Everything excelled our expectations. It was a buffet with fish with lobster sauce, lamb ribs with gravy sauce, perfectly roasted chicken, salads, potatoes, fresh baked bread and all you could eat. The cabin was cozy with a farm view and very quiet.

Excellent staff and service. Check in is allowed till 9.30pm you just have to call and inform the staff beforehand. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. You have a nespresso machine and kettle.in room. Heating is nothing short of perfection. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread was superb.very many vegan and vegeterian options. Highly recommended.

We booked two rooms. Both are clean, wide and nice. One room has a wonderful view toward Kirkjufell. There's a very nice restaurant called Bjargarsteinn Mathús by walking distance.
