They have no control over the aurora, but it presented itself right out the window for about 3 hours from 9PM to midnight. Can’t ask for better than that.

I have to say this is the best place where we stayed in Iceland. The location is 35KM from the town so we got a private sea view and a grass view with sheep just in front of the door! The log canbin has an independent bathroom. A fully equipped shared kitchen is not far away. All facilities are good. The roof is also decorated with grass just like the turf house we saw in Iceland. It is also close to the seal watching beach. I'd rather we had stayed one more night here. Definitely will come back again!

The rooms were very clean, modern, well designed and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options. The staff was friendly and virtuous. The location was remote and excellent for northern light watching.
