It is dream house in middle of sea and mountain. Living room is very comfortable- you have Netflix, you can listen to music, relaxing sofa, nice decoration in house, tradicional icelandic board games (very interesting for my child). Kitchen has everything you wish for- microwave, water heater, toaster... Very clean. Laundry room- washing maschine, dryer. Big windows- you can watch mountains and horses around house. It is the best accomodation we have ever been not just in Iceland but in other countries too.

The best thing was the dinner we had at night. Everything excelled our expectations. It was a buffet with fish with lobster sauce, lamb ribs with gravy sauce, perfectly roasted chicken, salads, potatoes, fresh baked bread and all you could eat. The cabin was cozy with a farm view and very quiet.

Excellent staff and service. Check in is allowed till 9.30pm you just have to call and inform the staff beforehand. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. You have a nespresso machine and kettle.in room. Heating is nothing short of perfection. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread was superb.very many vegan and vegeterian options. Highly recommended.

We booked two rooms. Both are clean, wide and nice. One room has a wonderful view toward Kirkjufell. There's a very nice restaurant called Bjargarsteinn Mathús by walking distance.

Kirkjufell Hotel offers free WiFi and rooms with a seating area and TV.. Mountain Kirkjufell, which is just 1 km away. Snæfellsjökull Glacier is 25 km away.

The place is much more beautiful than the pictures. The apartment and the surroundings are splendid. The apartment has everything you need, very cozy and it was renovated a month ago. Ashtildur and Jonni are wonderful, and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality.
