It's like a Bond villain's lair ...very cool. We loved our room and made use of the outdoor thermal pool, which was definitely needed after a long day's sightseeing. They have a Northern Lights service where they wake you if they appear, which they did! We had an amazing dinner and also some lovely cocktails in the very cool bar. The lava pool was a delight. The breakfast was gourmet, including smoked solmon, cheeses, eggs and an amazing espresso coffee. I travelled to the hotel with my elderly mother as she has always wanted to see the Northern Lights and on the second night we were not disappointed.
