We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet.

We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.Guest review byMills

The guest rooms are a new building and were very comfortable with easy external access for northern lights searching. Breakfast in the large common area was an excellent range of fresh tasty items. The common area has large windows overlooking the beautiful valley and it was so relaxing sipping our coffees looking out over the fields and across to the mountains.
