Largest bathroom out of 7 accommodations we booked in Iceland! We were so impressed by the home decor and how Cosy it was. A nice touch of icelandic tradition everywhere you look. Breakfast was basic but just enough. Staff was very accommodating. Location was perfect for us to drive to jokulsarlon during the night to go watch the aurora. I really recommend this place. Parking just outside (for free) even the towels were embroider with their emblem (I’m a sucker for the little details) the common area is so beautiful too!

Pretty new, extremely clean and lots of space in the room. Comfortable beds. Private bathroom. Good breakfast, actually it was a glad surprise compared to previous reviews. Location was also good close to Diamond Beach. Totally almost hotel level.

We stayed at Brunnholl Country Guesthouse during our trip to Iceland and were absolutely charmed by this original place! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere along the Ring Road, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, with a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The food was a delightful surprise—delicious, hearty, and made with care, making us feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, and the glacier views are simply breathtaking. If we could have, we’d have stayed a few more days to soak in more of this hidden gem. Highly recommended!
